About AREPEB


Alpha and Omega Reconciliation and Peace Building (AREPEB) is a voluntary, national non-profit making NGO with no affiliation to any political party or religious institution. AREPEB has been dully registered with the Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender and Children on 8th December, 2014 with Registration No. 00NGO/00007670. The organization has its head office in Handeni District, Tanga Region with an operating branch in Ilala District, Dar-Es-Salaam Region.


AREPEB is a committed one stop Centre for peace building, conflict transformation, promotion of human rights and good governance, humanitarian activities and love for humanity as ways which contribute to the economic growth at individual, group and national levels. AREPEB also ensures that administration and dispensation of justice, services and goods in both public and private institutions are delivered in an environment free of corruption.

Our History

AREPEB will not operate in isolation but will endeavor to collaborate and leverage resources with existing programs of similar or like focused organizations to achieve its objectives at local and national levels. AREPEB will seek to engage players in the promotion of peace, conflict transformation, prevention of violent extremism and poverty eradication within the country to create sustainable partnerships. It will therefore enter into strategic partnerships with them and maintain a database of them all.

It will therefore collaborate with a number of stakeholders including the Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly, and Children (MoHCDGEC), The President’s Office – Regional Administration and Local Government (TAMISEMI), Inter-Religious Council of Peace in Tanzania (IRCPT), The Tanzanian National Committee for the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, War Crimes, Crimes Against Humanity and All Forms of Discrimination, UNDP, WiLDAF, TAMWA, Tanzania Editors’ Forum (TEF), and Media Council of Tanzania (MCT).
